Linda v2
The busted lady will show you her mesh :)
In the case that you want to recreate a mesh like Linda's, to make some allday outfits for her for example, i will give you a detailed guide of how i formed Linda's wonderful body.
I've made Linda in Milkshape-3D because i think that's the best working 3D-Editor for the sims. By the way, many thanks to wes_h for his pretty good plug-ins!
I know there is perhaps a better way of redesigning meshes by using magnets in Poser. But to be honest, i haven't try that yet. I will let you know when i've figured that out. In the meantime i will bother you with some interesting screenshot that show you the selected vertices of the body; and the settings of the tools (move, rotate, scale and so on).
This is something for freaks. I've worked on a bare body and that's not the same as creating an allday dress that includes trousers or skirts for example, but it will give you an idea of Linda's original proportions.
Linda v2 is a bit more oversized than Linda v1. But the same time i think her shape looks better than before. And soon you will be able to create the same good-looking body mesh by yourself! I hope the workshop helps you a lot and you don't give up too early ;)
Before you start
Recreating Linda is not too hard if you have got some patience and basic milkshape skills.
Bloody beginners should first learn how to create a new mesh package and extract the gmdc with SimPe.
Also you should know how to use the rudimental milkshape tools, like Select, Move, Rotate and Scale. As long as you follow the screenshots and instruction exactly, you will get a bodymesh that looks the same like Linda's original, available on x-sim.com.
